Wherever Modi holds an election rally, he does not forget to mention Ram Temple. After a struggle of 500 years, he calls the construction of Ram temple through the Supreme Court as per the constitution as a big achievement. In every public meeting, Modi mentions how during the Congress rule, attempts were made to put obstacles in the way of Ram Temple. Modi also mentions that leaders of Congress and opposition parties were invited to attend the consecration of Lord Ram, but they did not come. In this way, Ram Temple is still fully included in the agenda of BJP.
Modi’s visit to Ram temple on Sunday also becomes special because in an interview given to a news channel and then in a public meeting in Etawah, he drew the public’s attention to the fact that in the last elections, opposition leaders were going to temples for darshan. But this time no opposition leader has been seen going to the temple yet. Modi has alleged that keeping in mind that a particular vote bank should not get upset, opposition leaders have stopped visiting temples. In the Etawah rally, Modi also put Rahul Gandhi and the Samajwadi Party supporting him in the dock for raising questions on the worship of Lord Krishna under the sea in Dwarka.
