Washington: India and America are seen becoming each other’s big partners in the field of space. Both countries are also taking steps in this direction. America’s top diplomat Eric Garcetti has said that the US space agency NASA will soon provide modern training to Indian astronauts with the aim of increasing joint efforts for the International Space Station.
Work is being done on this mission
Eric Garcetti said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited the US in the year 2023. During this time, the US had promised that an Indian would be sent to the International Space Station by the end of the year 2024. The US had said that work is being done on this mission. Eric Garcetti made these remarks at the “US-India Commercial Space Summit: Launching Opportunities for US and Indian Space Startups”. The event was organized by the US-India Business Council (USIBC) and the US Commercial Service (USCS) in Bengaluru.
Satellite ‘NISAR’ will be launched
