New Delhi. PM Narendra Modi is going to visit South India again today. Today he will address election rallies in Kerala, Karnataka and Telangana. There is also Modi’s road show. If we look at PM Modi’s tour to South India, he has visited these states 20 times in the last 3 months. Before consecrating his life in Ram temple, Modi had started visiting temples and religious places in South India. Now he is seen continuously visiting the states of South India for election campaign.
This time PM Modi has given the slogan of crossing 370 Lok Sabha seats for BJP and 400 for NDA. It is believed that to achieve this goal, this time PM Modi is continuously visiting the states of this region to ensure massive victory for BJP and NDA in the Lok Sabha elections in South India. In fact, except Karnataka in South India, BJP has not yet got a chance to win more Lok Sabha seats in other states. In such a situation, if BJP and NDA alliance partners are successful in getting more seats this time in the southern states, then Modi’s target of crossing 370 and 400 can easily be achieved. Also, if BJP and NDA win in these southern states, it will be a big blow to the opposition as well.
If we talk about southern states, Telangana has 17 Lok Sabha seats. Of these, BJP had won 1 seat in 2014 and 4 seats in 2019. Look at Karnataka. There are 28 Lok Sabha seats here. Of these, BJP won 17 seats in 2014 and 25 seats in 2019. Apart from this, BJP could not register victory on 25 Lok Sabha seats of Andhra Pradesh, 20 of Kerala and 39 Lok Sabha seats of Tamil Nadu. Including all these southern states, there are 129 seats in the Lok Sabha. If 1 seat of Puducherry is included, the number of seats becomes 130. If BJP wins half of these i.e. 65 seats this time, then it will be easy for it to achieve the target given by Modi in the Lok Sabha. And perhaps because of this, this time Modi himself decided to create an atmosphere in favor of BJP and NDA by roaming in the South. However, how much success they get in this will be known only after the Lok Sabha election results are declared on June 4.
