PM Modi said that, when the award is in the name of an elder sister like Lata didi, it is a symbol of her affinity and love for me. I dedicate this award to all the countrymen. Just like Lata didi belonged to the people. In the same way, this award given to me in his name belongs to the people.
PM Modi said, “Music fills you with bravery. Music can give a feeling of motherhood and love. Music can take you to the pinnacle of patriotism and duty. We are all fortunate that we have seen this power of music, this power in the form of Lata didi.
He said, “She (Lata didi) built Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune with her earnings and with the help of her friends, which is still serving the country. Pune’s Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital is also included in the country’s hospital which did more work for the poor during the Corona period.
