Voting is being held today in 57 Lok Sabha seats
Let us tell you that in the 7th and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections, voting is being held today in the Union Territory of Chandigarh and 57 seats in 7 states. In this phase, voting is being held in the Union Territory of Chandigarh, all 13 seats in Punjab, 4 in Himachal Pradesh, 13 in Uttar Pradesh, 9 in West Bengal, 8 in Bihar, 6 in Odisha and 3 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand. Elections for the remaining 42 assembly seats in Odisha and by-elections for 6 assembly seats in Himachal Pradesh are also being held simultaneously. In this phase, more than 10.06 crore citizens, including about 5.24 crore men, 4.82 crore women and 3,574 ‘third gender’ voters, are eligible to vote.
