Prime Minister Narendra Modi started his third term by sending the amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi to the accounts of farmers. Now he is also going to address the Kisan Sammelan. After returning from Italy, PM Modi will go to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on June 18 and address the Kisan Sammelan here. On the same day, he will reach Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the evening and after worship, he will also participate in Ganga Aarti. The next day he will attend a program at Nalanda University in Rajgir, Bihar.
PM Modi has given priority to farmers after taking oath as Prime Minister for the third time. In the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the Bharatiya Janata Party could not get a majority on its own and is dependent on NDA alliance partners to remain in power. It is believed that the farmers’ movement has an important role in the reduction of BJP’s seats. Perhaps this is why the PM is paying more attention to farmers in this term.
