On the occasion of India’s 78th Independence Day, PM Modi has wished all the countrymen. He wrote on the social media platform X, “Many happy Independence Day wishes to all the countrymen. Jai Hind!” PM Modi has wished in both Hindi and English languages.

On this special occasion, PM Modi will hoist the flag at the Red Fort for the 11th time. During this time 6000 special guests will be present. Keeping in mind the security of the special guests and leaders present in Delhi, the movement of common people has been banned on all roads around the Red Fort.

PM Modi will address the nation after flag hoisting

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the national flag from the historic Red Fort today and address the nation. Let us tell you that this year the theme of Independence Day has been kept as ‘Developed India @ 2047’. The central government has invited 6,000 special guests to watch the ceremony at the Red Fort this year. India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the tricolor at the Red Fort on Thursday at 7:30 am. After this, PM Modi will address the nation at 7:33 am.

These special guests will be present

Students benefiting from Atal Innovation Mission and PM SHRI (Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India) scheme, and volunteers of Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) and National Service Scheme under ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ will participate. The guests also include tribal artisans/Van Dhan Vikas members and tribal entrepreneurs funded by National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation. Apart from these, beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and representatives of Farmer Producer Organisations will also be present at the Red Fort. Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA), Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) and Anganwadi workers, elected women representatives, beneficiaries of Sankalp: Mahila Empowerment Centre, Lakhpati Didi, Drone Didi Initiative, Sakhi Kendra Yojana, Child Welfare Committee and District Child Protection Units will also witness the ceremony. Players participating in the Paris Olympics and one guest from each block of the Aspiring Block Programme, workers of Border Roads Organisation, students of Prerna School Programme and Sarpanches of Gram Panchayats that have achieved saturation in priority sector schemes will also attend the event.
