Former Pakistan minister Fawad Chaudhry.
Islamabad: Fawad Chaudhary, who was a minister in the Imran government of Pakistan, has reacted to a statement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Let us tell you that PM Modi had given a statement on the praise of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other opposition leaders by Fawad Chaudhary. Speaking on PM Modi’s statement, Fawad Chaudhary said that it is very important to defeat Narendra Modi and his radical thinking. Along with this, Fawad Chaudhary also congratulated Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal and Mamta Banerjee for victory in the Lok Sabha elections.
‘There is no hatred towards India in Pakistan’
Fawad Chaudhary said that Muslims of Kashmir or other parts of India are facing extremist ideology at this time. He said, ‘It is very important that Narendra Modi loses the election and everyone in Pakistan wants this. Relations between India and Pakistan can improve only when extremism will reduce. There is no hatred towards India in Pakistan. But, the alliance of RSS and BJP is creating hatred towards Pakistan and Muslims and it is our duty to defeat the people of this ideology.’
‘My best wishes to the one who defeats PM Modi’
Fawad Chaudhary further said that I believe that the voters of India are not fools. He said, ‘Indian voters will benefit from this. To improve relations with Pakistan and for India to move forward as a progressive country, it is very important that Narendra Modi and his fundamentalist thinking be defeated. Whoever defeats him, whether it is Rahul, Kejriwal or Mamta Banerjee, our best wishes are with them.’
‘I am not interested in supporting Rahul or Kejriwal’
Earlier, Fawad Chaudhary shared a video of PM Modi’s interview with IANS on X and wrote, ‘I have no interest in supporting Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal, nor do I represent the Pak government. I was in jail and facing politically motivated cases for opposing the fascist regime in Pakistan. But, I will support anyone who stands against extremists and PM Modi has become a symbol of hatred and extremism. Muslims in India are facing hatred due to the rise of Hindu Mahasabha.’
‘Whoever defeats BJP will get respect in the world’
Fawad Chaudhary further wrote, ‘The founders of Pakistan had promised to stand up for the rights of Muslims living in India. But, it is unfortunate that the Pakistani government is not playing its role. But, I will speak for Muslim rights in India in any case because the hatred that has spread against Muslims there has to be defeated. The RSS and BJP’s alliance of hatred and extremism has to be defeated and whoever defeats them will get respect in the world.’
What did PM Modi say on supporting Fawad?
Let us tell you that on the question of Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal getting support from Pakistan, PM Modi had told IANS that this Lok Sabha election is of India and India’s democracy is very mature, there are healthy traditions here and the voters of India are also not the ones who get influenced by any antics from outside. He had said, ‘I don’t know why there are only a few people who are liked by those who have enmity with us, why there are only a few people in whose support voices are raised from there. Now this is a serious matter of a very big investigation.’ (IANS)
