PM Modi Meditation: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meditation is the center of discussion today. He offered prayers at Maa Amman Temple on Friday morning and after that he immersed himself in meditation at the meditation center of Vivekananda Rock Memorial. According to media reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be immersed in meditation for 48 hours. Meditation is a very ancient tradition of India and the next step of yoga. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already promoted yoga in the country and abroad and now he wants to introduce the power of meditation to the world. But do you know what meditation is? How is meditation done and what is the purpose of meditation. Here we will tell in detail about the meditation of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission founder. Sri Guru Ratna Prabhu I will tell you its details based on the conversation with him.
what is meditation
Meditation is a process of controlling the mind, the purpose of which can be to seek something for truth. In this, the consciousness of the mind has to be stabilized in a particular state. Although the purpose of meditation is a goal in itself, meditation is also done with the purpose of achieving something. There are many methods of this. Usually the practitioner sits still in solitude in a particular posture and removes all thoughts from the mind and focuses only on the thoughts of the purpose. This can last from a few minutes to several hours. Shri Guru Ratna Prabhu says that there are many methods of meditation and each is called meditation.
How to meditate
Shri Guru Ratna Prabhu says that in meditation, first of all we have to control our breath. After this, we have to take our mind to a state of relaxation. When we impose high-minded thoughts or prayers in this relaxation, then the cosmic power starts its journey towards its result. Hardly anyone will be able to tell what Modi ji is thinking with his eyes closed, but the result of meditation at the place where Modi ji is praying is very different. If he is calming his mind and putting any prayer or proper thoughts, then it is in the interest of everyone.
What is the aim of PM Modi
Shri Guru Ratna Prabhu says that meditation has an underlying purpose. She told that the way Gandhiji used to fast for his demands, meditation is somewhat similar. In this, demands are made to the cosmic power with full concentration for achieving the objective. When we want to get some demands fulfilled from the cosmic power, then the basis of meditation is taken. If this purpose is for the justification of the universe, for the benefit of the creation, then the cosmic power fulfills this purpose. What is the purpose of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it must be in his mind only but definitely the Prime Minister is doing this meditation to achieve higher goals.
Why focus only on Vivekananda Rock Memorial
Vivekananda Rock Memorial has special significance. According to Shri Guru Ratna Prabhu, it is mentioned in our scriptures that Goddess Parvati had performed meditation on this stone to fulfill her wish, after which Lord Shiva was pleased and fulfilled her wish. Devi Maa’s temple is still situated in Kanyakumari. Ratna Prabhu said that Swami Vivekananda also went to this stone to do meditation by swimming in the sea amidst strong waves. He had asked Devi Maa for his spiritual development. To fulfill this purpose, he did rigorous meditation for three days. Due to this, he achieved spiritual development within himself. He spread this in the country and abroad. This place was a place of retirement for Vivekananda. Actually, during his activities, Vivekananda used to spread his thoughts and during his retirement, he used to meditate and neutralize his thoughts. It is believed that Vivekananda attained enlightenment in the divine experiences of meditation at this place.
why only 48 hours
Shri Guru Ratna Prabhu said that there is no rule that a meditation should be completed in 48 hours or 43 hours but when we keep any thought flowing continuously for 48 hours then that thought takes a turn towards truth. Nowadays we are not able to stop any thought for 48 minutes but Modi ji wants to keep a thought flowing for 48 hours with a firm resolve. This is a big thing. However, in the middle of a long meditation, essential bodily functions can also be carried out. You can also drink water. You can also take light food but it is important that we keep the direction of the thought we are carrying. We should not lose our direction in this. When any thought keeps flowing continuously for 48 hours then that thought starts taking hold of its existence and starts becoming true. This work leads to accomplishment.
The infinite power of meditation
Shri Guru Ratna Prabhu says that meditation has unlimited power. Meditation not only has spiritual but also mental and physical benefits. That is why everyone should meditate. Shri Guru Ratna Prabhu said that stress is the biggest disease in today’s life. Stress is responsible for most diseases. Meditation removes stress. If the mind is free from stress, the body will automatically feel inspired. There will be an excitement to do something new. Meditation drives away stress and removes negative energy. Meditation focuses our emotions.
