The day after taking oath, the Prime Minister signed the file ordering the release of the 17th installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi in his third term. Under the 17th installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi, about Rs 20 thousand crore will be released, which will benefit more than 9 crore farmers across the country.
After signing the Kisan Samman Nidhi file, Prime Minister Modi said that our government is fully committed to the welfare of farmers. We will continue to work more for farmers and the agriculture sector in the coming times. Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, launched to increase the income of farmers, financial assistance is provided in three installments of Rs 2000 each every year. This money goes directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
