In Prabhat Nagar area of Hiranmagri police station area, a person first brutally murdered his wife and two innocent children and then committed suicide by hanging himself. The incident came to light on Friday and sensation spread throughout the area. The police have received a suicide note from the spot, in which the financial crisis has been described as the reason for this horrific step.
The whole family destroyed in one stroke
According to the information, the deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Dilip Chitara, who lived in a rented house with his wife Alka (37 years), son Khush (6 years) and Manveer (4 years) in Ambafla Hall Prabhatnagar Sector-5. Dileep first consumed both the children of a poisonous substance, then strangled the wife to kill her and finally committed suicide by hanging himself from the fan.
Police stunned
Hiranmagri police station reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. The police had to break the door due to the closure of the house. The view inside was heartbreaking. Dileep’s body was found hanging from the fan in the same room, while the bodies of his wife and both the children were lying nearby. The police immediately took the bodies and sent it for postmortem and informed the family members.
What was written in suicide note?
Dileep wrote in the suicide note that he had been struggling with financial crisis for a long time. After the Korona period, his economic condition worsened. He wrote, “I am very upset. Now there is no way left.” Dilip used to run a general store in Hiranmagri area, which was a rented shop. The economic burden, the lack of shop earnings and the pressure of family responsibilities had broken him mentally.
Case opened due to the vigilance of the landlord
There was no movement from Dileep’s house throughout the day on Friday. When the landlord Ravi Sachdev was suspicious, he knocked on the door several times but did not get any response. On deepening the suspicion, he called the police. On arrival of the police, the door was broken and the horrific truth came to light.
Family statement
Dilip’s uncle Manak Chitara said that about 6 months ago, Dileep had talked about debt. The family advised him to sell the loan by selling the house. There was no talk about this after this. Recently, when uncle met Dileep, he treated normal and did not mention the debt.
