In a domestic dispute in Lohawat area of Phalodi district of Rajasthan, parents poisoned their three children and then strangled them to death. After this he also tried to commit suicide. As soon as the information of the incident was received, people around took parents and children to the hospital, where parents are undergoing treatment. The doctor declared the three children dead.
It is being told that the incident took place in Kolu Pabuji of Lohawat, where Shivlal and his wife Jatano Devi poisoned their three children and strangled them to death. The incident was detected on Tuesday morning when Shivlal’s younger brother’s wife reached the door of the house to call Shivlal and saw that there was blood spread all around. In such a situation, he screamed and informed the people around it. When the family, neighbors and villagers went inside the house, they found Shivlal and his wife Jatano Devi unconscious. All three children were unconscious. The police were informed and all the five were immediately rushed to the hospital where three children – Harish (9 years), daughter Kiran (5 years) and Nathu (3 years) were declared dead.
Murder in family dispute
In the whole case, Phalodi SP Pooja Ahana said that accused Shivlal and his wife Jatano Devi are mentally ill. There were frequent quarrels between the two. It is learned that there was a fight between the two even before the incident. After the quarrel, both of them poisoned their three children and then attempted suicide. Bottles, blades and knives were also found in the house search, which the parents used to cut their children and their own veins.
The family informed the police.
Shivlal’s father Dinaram said that Shivlal works as a driver in a road construction company in Uttarakhand. Three years ago, he started living separately from his ancestral home. Shivlal’s mother is mentally ill and left the house on Tuesday morning and went towards the road. In such a situation, Dinaram sent his younger son’s wife to call Shivlal. So that he can find his mother and bring her back home. But when the younger son’s wife reached outside the house, he saw blood spread on the floor. In such a situation, when she screamed, the incident was known. Shivlal’s father Dinaram himself is paralyzed.
The bodies of the three children have been kept in the morgue. Shivlal and his wife are undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors. The police is engaged in further investigation into the entire case.
