In Delhi’s Dayalpur area, the police have arrested the accused of rape and murder from a minor after an encounter in Welcome area. The accused is shot in the leg. He attacked constable Amit Mann with a knife and injured him on the pretext of going to the toilet. Then he started trying to escape from there. The police asked him to stop. But if he did not agree, he was shot and caught. The injured constable Amit has been admitted to JPC Hospital.
What is the whole matter?
The DCP said that on June 7, at 8:41 pm, Dayalpur police had received information about rape and murder of a minor girl. When the police team reached the spot, it was found that her father had already taken her father to JPC Hospital in a state of unconsciousness. But doctors declared the girl dead. Doctors saw bruises on his face and suspected of sexual harassment. Meanwhile, crime and FSL teams were called to inspect the spot. Taking the matter seriously, an FIR was registered under the relevant sections and investigation was started.
Police took such action
Several teams were formed to catch the accused. With the help of CCTV footage, technical surveillance, the accused was arrested from Hapur-Bulandshahr Road. The accused was being brought to Delhi. When the police reached him in the Lake Park area of Welcome, the accused asked him to go to the toilet. Then the accused took out a knife hidden in his clothes and attacked the constable Amit Mann twice, injuring him. After this, the accused tried to escape from the police.
The accused shot in the leg
Seeing the accused running and attacking the police, SI Kaushik Ghosh warned him to stop. Aerial firing was also done. But the accused ignored the warning and started running away. Then SI Kaushik Ghosh fired. The bullet hit her leg. He was then arrested. At present, a separate FIR is being registered against the accused in the murder and sexual exploitation case.
