Bhilai. During the procession of Baba to be taken out by the Bol Bam Seva and Kalyan Samiti on Mahashivratri, the police have diverted the route to maintain smooth traffic arrangements.
The police appealed to the drivers to use the diverted route only between 2 pm and 10 pm. so that they can avoid jam.
In view of the possibility of gathering of thousands of people in Baba’s procession and the possibility of gathering of thousands of people, the police have prepared this plan. From 2 o’clock in the afternoon, Baba’s barrage will leave from Indira Nagar Hathkhoj. Which is Transport Nagar Mod, Vishwakarma Temple via Canal Road, Ganesh Tiraha, Shiv Shakti Chowk, Karthik Chowk Zone-03, Bol Bam Chowk to ITI via Zone-01 via Pagoda, MPR Road, Post Office, Hanuman Mandir Zone- From 2 to Shriram Chowk (Anda Chowk), Durga Pandal will reach Zone-02.
During this time there will be huge crowd on these routes. In view of this, the traffic police has prepared a route diversion plan. In which traffic will be diverted from Transport Nagar Chowk, Dabra Para Chowk. Baba’s procession will go from Canal Road to ITI.
Therefore, traffic on Canal Road has been completely banned. Apart from this, the route has been diverted by the police. According to him, heavy vehicles coming from Sirsa Gate to Transport Nagar will be stopped at Hathkhoj Pulia ground and will be dispatched on reaching Barat Canal Road.
Heavy vehicles coming from Cantonment Chowk to Transport Nagar will be stopped before Transport Nagar and on reaching Barat Canal Road, they will be taken out towards Sirsa Gate via Hathkhoj culvert. Heavy vehicles going from Dabra Para Chowk to Transport Nagar will be sent from Cantonment Chowk to Transport Nagar via Power House.

Bhainsbod’s huge Shivling is a symbol of faith
A 70 feet high Shivling has been constructed in village Bhainsbod (Boria), located five kilometers before the Berla block headquarter on the Kumhari to Bemetara road. A five-feet Sheshnag hood is spread over the Shivling. There is a five feet sanctum sanctorum below this Shivling.
This Shivling has been constructed by the Satbahiniya Shaktidham Committee with the help of the villagers. The committee consists of people from four nearby villages including Bhaisbod. Every year on Mahashivratri and Sawan, there is a huge crowd of devotees for worship here. The committee claims that this is the largest Shivling of Chhattisgarh.
