Chittorgarh. The division level program of Rajasthan Police Foundation Day was held on Wednesday at the police line. The ceremony was celebrated in the main hospitality of Udaipur Range IG Rajesh Meena. On doing commendable work, 189 policemen were honored with the Chief Minister’s commendable service medal, Rajasthan Police Medal, DGP Disk, Service System and Consideration letter. There were many other programs as well. Several police officers of the district including Superintendent of Police Sudhir Joshi were present. Retired police personnel and citizens of other districts were also involved.
The parade organized on division level Rajasthan Police Foundation Day was inspected by Udaipur Range IGP Rajesh Meena, a salute was given under the leadership of Parade Commander Anil Pandey accumulated inspector. The Superintendent of Police congratulated and congratulated the policemen present on Rajasthan Police Day. 189 policemen were honored with the Chief Minister’s commendable service medal, Rajasthan Police Medal, DGP Disk, Services and Prayers for the continuous dishonest service for duty loyalty and commendable services in the police department. A photo exhibition was also organized in the police line on the occasion, in which in the years 2024 and 2025, the police department displayed photographs of various activities and achievements including law and order, traffic management, women self -defense.
IGP Rajesh Meena said on the occasion that the Rajasthan Police is working determined according to its glorious traditions. Police personnel have presented unique examples of sacrifice and sacrifice on many occasions to protect the lives and property of the citizens. He said that the policemen should always be ready to serve the citizens keeping their motives “faith in the common man and fear in criminals”. Giving best wishes to the police personnel who have received various types of medals, they said that they have received this medal as a result of their hard work, dedication and work efficiency, they will be expected to keep their best and excellent work continuously and make the Rajasthan Police proud.
Superintendent of Police Sudhir Joshi said on the occasion that it is a matter of great pride that the range level ceremony is being held in Chittorgarh district. On 16 April 1949, the police of all the princely states were merged and established the Rajasthan Police. It is a matter of great pride that this range level program of Rajasthan Police is being organized here, the first training center of Rajasthan Police was established on the holy and glorious land of Chittorgarh, then it was transferred to Kishangarh and then to Jaipur. At the same time, it is also a matter of great pride that the Vijay Pillar which we feel proud by wearing on our uniform is also present in Chittorgarh. He congratulated all the police officers who received the medal today and sent best wishes.
SP Sarita Singh, the nodal officer of the entire program, said that on Wednesday, a total of 189 police officers of the range were awarded various service medals in the program of the range level Rajasthan Police Foundation Day celebrations. Three of which have been awarded the Chief Minister’s commendable service medal, Rajasthan Police Medal, DGP Disk on 41, 35 to the best service symbol, 30 to the best service symbol and 75 police personnel of District Chittorgarh have been given best service. The common citizen who protected the lives and property of people in various incidents in the range was also honored on the occasion.
Apart from Superintendent of Police Sudhir Joshi, ASP Sarita Singh, ASP Mukesh Sankhan and police personnel along with several police officers were present on the occasion.
On Tuesday, on the eve of Police Day, a cultural program was organized for police personnel officers and family members in the police line. Police officers employees and their family members participated in it. In which the children of the policeman captivated all the people and officers present there with their presentations. Similarly, children, meritorious students and prizes in sports competition were also honored. Those were honored by the Superintendent of Police by giving them Momento and a letter of praise. In addition to IGP Udaipur in the cultural evening program, representatives of various industries including District Sessions Judge, District Collector, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Additional District Collector, Deputy Block Magistrate were present.
