AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) founding member and state vice -president Angesh Singh and Patna District President Chaudhary Brahm Prakash resigned from the party and joined the Congress. The two leaders joined the Congress party at a ceremony held at Sadaqat Ashram, in which their supporters were also present.

At the ceremony, State Congress President Rajesh Kumar Ram gave Angesh Singh and Chaudhary Brahm Prakash membership of the Congress Party. While joining the Congress, the two leaders raised their voice in support of the principles and policies of the party and described the Congress as a strong alternative in the development of the state.

According to sources, the two leaders decided to resign due to increasing disagreement in the AAP party and lack of leadership guidance.
