Political uproar over Hindenburg report, Ravi Shankar Prasad targeted the opposition, said- “Conspiracy to weaken India economically”

New Delhi. The recent report of Hindenburg Research has heated up the political atmosphere in the country. After this report, a round of allegations and counter-allegations has started between the opposition and the ruling parties. BJP MP and former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has launched a scathing attack on the opposition and called them a conspirator to ruin India economically. Ravi Shankar Prasad said, “The Congress Party, its allies and the so-called toolkit gang have conspired to bring economic chaos and instability in India. The Hindenburg report was deliberately released on Saturday, so that it could create a ruckus on Sunday and the country’s capital market could be destabilized on Monday.

He stressed that the Indian stock market is a safe, stable and promising market, and through such reports, an attempt is being made to destabilize it. He also said, “SEBI has a legal responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the market, and SEBI had issued a notice against Hindenburg under the supervision of the Supreme Court after completing its investigation.”

Ravi Shankar Prasad also targeted Hindenburg’s main investor, American businessman George Soros, saying, “This is a toolkit gang which is trying to harm India’s growing economy. As part of this conspiracy, the report was released on Saturday, when the market is closed. After this, everyone has seen the turmoil in the market.”

Attacking the Congress, he raised the question, “What does the Congress want? Does it want that there should be no investment in India? It is clear that the Congress is conspiring to stop India’s development and wants to weaken the country economically.” Ravi Shankar Prasad finally clarified that, “We want to clearly say that we will not let India become weak.”
