New Delhi. Against the ‘Agneepath scheme’ of recruitment in the army, where the Congress is continuously conducting a Satyagraha movement. At the same time, a war has broken out between its two veteran leaders on this issue. Both are great leaders in this war. One’s name is Jairam Ramesh. The other leader is Manish Tewari. Actually, it happened that Manish Tiwari, while enumerating the advantages of Agneepath scheme, wrote an article in the newspaper describing it as a big step for the defense service of the country. On this, Jaram Ramesh tweeted and said that Manish Tewari’s article is not an official statement of Congress, but his personal opinion. After this tweet of Jairam Ramesh came to the fore, Manish Tiwari retaliated and tweeted. In this tweet, Manish wrote that Jairam, see very well that this personal opinion has been told in my article. First you read what Jairam Ramesh tweeted, on which Manish Tewari has retaliated.
Manish Tewari, INC MP, has written an article on Agnipath. While @INCIndia is the only democratic party, it must be said his views are entirely his own & not of the party, which firmly believes Agnipath is anti-national security & anti-youth, bulldozed through without discussion.

Manish Tewari has actually been a sideline in the Congress for a long time. Both he and Jairam are MPs, despite this, Manish Tewari has told all the decisions of the Modi government in recent times as correct. When the Congress high command i.e. Gandhi family had organized a Chintan Shivir in Rajasthan, Manish Tewari was not called. On this too Manish had raised questions on the party leadership. In the past, after Jairam Ramesh became a Rajya Sabha MP, Congress made him the head of the media. Now in response to Jairam’s tweet, Manish Tiwari has shown a mirror while targeting him. Here you can see how Manish hit back at Jairam.
The tag line of the article does say – The views are personal. I wish @Jairam_Ramesh ji would have read it right till the very end.

Let us inform that former Congress President Rahul Gandhi is continuously giving statements against the Agneepath scheme. Along with Rahul, all the Congress leaders have been doing satyagraha on this issue for many days. The Congress says that the Agneepath scheme is a threat to the security of the country. The party says that it will force the Modi government to withdraw this scheme. Under the Agneepath scheme, soldiers are to be recruited in all the three wings of the army for 4 years. Of these, except 25 per cent, the rest will be retired. On retirement, he will be given about 12 lakh rupees. Apart from this, there are plans to get jobs in police, army, coast guard, central forces and private companies.
