New Delhi. The people of Delhi are suffocating due to toxic air. The level of pollution in the air is increasing every day in Delhi. Due to the burning of stubble in the fields, the lives of the people of Delhi are in breath. At the same time, in this matter, Aam Aadmi Party, AAP and Punjab government are jointly targeting BJP and Haryana. Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar and Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav have hit back at the AAP and the Punjab government. On Wednesday too, there was a fierce battle of statements and figures between the two. The AAP government of Punjab and the government of Haryana accused each other that they are burning maximum stubble. Take a look at this battle.
First of all, let’s talk about Bhagwant Mann, the head of the Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab. Bhagwant Mann released a video and blamed the pollution on Haryana. Bhagwant Mann started citing statistics to tell that farmers in Haryana are burning stubble fiercely. Because of this pollution in the air is increasing.

After Bhagwant Mann’s allegations, where was Haryana’s CM Manohar Lal Khattar too far behind? He retaliated by quoting the data received through remote sensing i.e. satellite. Khattar said that Haryana is burning 25 per cent less stubble as compared to last year. Whereas, in Punjab this time 20 percent more stubble has been burnt so far as compared to last year.

When Khattar targeted Punjab, the Environment and Forest Minister of Modi government Bhupendra Yadav also surrounded the Punjab government. By tweeting, he gave the figures that how many more incidents of stubble burning are taking place in Punjab this year as compared to last year.
Sample this: As of today, Punjab, a state run by the AAP government, has seen an over 19% rise in farm fires over 2021. Haryana has seen a 30.6% drop.
Just today, Punjab saw 3,634 fires.
There is no doubt over who has turned Delhi into a gas chamber.

In the midst of this political battle over stubble and pollution, the air in and around Delhi is becoming extremely toxic every day. The share of stubble burning in Delhi’s pollution rose to 32 per cent on Wednesday. Even Arvind Kejriwal government minister Gopal Rai had to hold a press conference and appeal to the people of Delhi not to drive when not needed. Along with this, he also emphasized on doing work from home. However, the Delhi government is not telling what exact measures it is going to adopt to give relief to the people of Delhi from pollution.
