Pooja Khedkar Gets Relief From Delhi High Court: Former trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar gets relief from Delhi High Court, interim stay on arrest till August 21

New Delhi. Former Maharashtra cadre trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar has got relief from Delhi High Court. The court has ordered not to arrest Pooja Khedkar till August 21 in the fraud case. Now Pooja’s interim bail plea will be heard on August 21. There are many serious allegations against Pooja Khedkar, including taking advantage of reservation in UPSC exam by getting a fake disability certificate. Earlier, UPSC took a big action against Pooja and cancelled her IAS candidature and took away her officership. Not only this, Pooja has also been banned from appearing in UPSC exams in future.

After examining the available records, UPSC has found Pooja Manorama Dilip Khedkar guilty of violating the CSE-2022 rules. In this case, an FIR was also lodged against Pooja by UPSC and a notice was issued to Pooja seeking a reply. Along with this, Pooja’s training duty was stopped midway and she was ordered to report to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie. However, Pooja did not report to the Mussoorie Academy nor did she respond to the UPSC notice. After which UPSC took action and cancelled Pooja’s candidature.

To avoid arrest in the FIR filed by UPSC, Pooja had earlier filed an interim bail application in Delhi’s Patiala House Court, where the bail plea has been rejected. Now Pooja has knocked the door of Delhi High Court. While rejecting Pooja’s bail plea, Patiala House Court had also directed the investigating agency to trace those UPSC candidates who have obtained the benefit of reservation by getting disability certificates made in a wrong manner despite not being eligible. Along with this, the court had also asked to find out whether anyone from UPSC is involved in this case?
