Saharanpur Police of Uttar Pradesh has arrested four miscreants who committed robbery on the highway wearing women’s clothes. These miscreants used to make obscene gestures at the drivers and as soon as the vehicle stopped near them, they used to beat up the driver and run away from the spot. During this time, these criminals did not hesitate in committing murder. The police were continuously receiving complaints about this gang. On the information of the informer, the police laid siege and arrested all four miscreants and exposed the gang.
After interrogating the miscreants, the police said that these miscreants used to stand on the highway wearing women’s clothes and with proper make-up. During this time, these miscreants used to light torches and make obscene gestures at the passersby and drivers and then lure them to have physical relations and take them to a deserted place. In the month of February this year, these miscreants had killed truck driver Wasim, resident of Saharanpur. The accused took Wasim to a sugarcane field on the pretext of having a relationship and after the robbery, strangulated him to death.
The identity card of deceased Wasim was found with the accused.
According to the police, the cash and some identity cards looted from Wasim have been recovered from the possession of the accused. According to Saharanpur SP City Abhimanyu Manglik, Zulfan is the mastermind of the arrested accused. While Parvez, Musahib and Sonu caught with him are his henchmen. According to the police, on the night of 5th February, between Ajay and Mannat Dhaba, this miscreant tricked the truck driver Wasim by dressing him in women’s clothes on the pretext of having fun and committed the crime.
The miscreants have confessed to more than a dozen crimes
He told that since this incident, police teams were searching for these miscreants. During this time it was revealed that apart from the Wasim murder case, these miscreants had also committed many other crimes. After identifying these miscreants and getting accurate input, the police surrounded them near Dhamola river, took them into custody and interrogated them. During this period, the accused have confessed to more than a dozen incidents. Now the police is interrogating him in connection with other incidents that took place on the highway.
