Goa Police has raided the premises of I-PAC, an organization of political strategist Prashant Kishor, working for Trinamool Congress (TMC) in Goa. During this, the police has also arrested an employee of this organization with ganja. A case has also been registered against this employee under the NDPS Act.
According to Goa Police, narcotics were recovered in a series of raids on bungalows in Porvorim. It is being said that this narcotic substance is ganja.
I-PAC has hired 8 bungalows in Goa. Police said narcotics were recovered from one of these eight I-PAC villas.
A case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
TMC’s troubles may also increase with this matter coming to the fore two days before the polling for the Goa Assembly elections. TMC is trying its luck for the first time in Goa politics and Prashant Kishor is working as consultant here.
Recently, a senior official associated with I-PAC had said that ‘I-PAC is continuously working for TMC to improve the party’s performance in the elections’.
The development comes two days before the Goa Assembly elections are scheduled to go to polls in 2022. All India Trinamool Congress (TMC), a newcomer to Goa politics, is contesting as an advisor to I-PAC.
Let us inform that Prashant Kishor and his organization have been working for Mamta Banerjee for the last two and a half years. He is also believed to be behind the victory of Mamata Banerjee’s party in the West Bengal Assembly.
