Chandigarh Finance Commissioner of Revenue Department of Haryana held a review meeting with all the Deputy Commissioners to modernize agricultural data management, organize land records and strengthen census preparations. Many important decisions were taken in this meeting.
He informed that it is proposed to set up a Haryana Revenue Training Institute on about 20 acres of land. The institute will be the state -of -the -art center for training and capacity building of revenue officers.
Dr. Mishra said that the Agristac -based crop survey and farmers registry will be implemented from the next agricultural season in the state. For this, a village in every tehsil will be selected as a pilot project. The master training of the officers will be completed by tomorrow. After this, these master trainers will train Patwaris and Revenue Assistants, so that the scheme can be implemented properly.
The Finance Commissioner directed all the Deputy Commissioners to settle the pending dental (mutation) under the campaign. He said that the district should adopt the ‘First-in-first-out’ (FIFO) system on the district web-hallis platform. This will end human intervention, remain fairness and increase the speed of work. Dr. Mishra said that it is necessary to reduce pending cases, so that new cases can be done on time. He said that the pending cases of Intakal should end by 15 October 2025.
Dr. Mishra, who is also the State Nodal Officer of Census 2027, said that the pilot census will take place in October -November 2025 in Panchkula, Hisar and Faridabad. After this, the house listing will be from April to September 2026 and in 2027 population census will be done. He said that City Magistrates in every district will be the nodal officer to monitor the census work and the Deputy Commissioner will play the role of the Chief Census Officer.
In the meeting, Dr. Sumita Mishra said that under a large scale mapping project, the work of 71% Tatima update in the state has been completed. He informed that by 18 August 2025, out of 62.72 lakhs, 44.60 lakh work has been completed. He instructed all the Deputy Commissioners that the work of Tatima updating should be completed by 15 October 2025.
Border dispute was also discussed with Uttar Pradesh in the meeting. The Survey of India has provided accurate places and funds for the construction of border pillars. Dr. Mishra instructed the Deputy Commissioners of Panipat, Sonipat, Faridabad, Palwal and Karnal to complete the construction work quickly and send the progress report regularly.
