In the city, preparations have started in the fort’s Shri Budheshwar Mahadev Temple, Rudreshwar Temple and other Shiva temples. A pandal has been started in the temple premises. After the corona infection subsides, this year there will be attractive programs in the city on Mahashivratri. There will be 21 types of bandwagons and floats from Ujjain and Banaras, which will come out of the city. At the same time, various types of programs will be organized at different places in Shiva temples. With only a few days left for the Mahashivratri festival to arrive, preparations are going on in full swing at the Shiva temples.
After the corona infection subsides, every section is eagerly waiting for the arrival of Mahashivratri festival and fair this year along with the devotees. For this, special preparations have started in the Shri Budheswar Mahadev temple of the main fort of the city. Welcome gates, pandals are being set up on the temple premises under construction. The work of decoration and other decorations is going on in the temples. Nilesh Lunia, Mukesh Sukhwani and Bhavesh of Budheshwar Mandir Committee told that there will be Haldi program from 6 am on 25th February, Mehndi on 26th, Mangal Geet on 27th. On February 28, there will be a 24-hour Akhand Jalabhishek, which will last till 5.30 in the morning of March 1, on the day of Mahashivratri.
Prasad will be distributed at Gaushala ground near Vindhyavasini temple from 12 noon to 3 pm. At the same time, the procession of Lord Mahadev will come out from near the Gaushala Maidan Vindhyavasini temple at three o’clock in the afternoon, which will reach Itwari Bazar via the major squares and squares of the city.
The procession will be welcomed by Shri Bolbam Kanwaria Welfare Association. At nine o’clock in the night, bhajan will be performed by Sandhya Maa Patal Bhairavi, Shree Shyam family and Ramdhuni family. On the day of Mahashivratri, Mangal Aarti will be worshiped in the temple in the morning, Rajbhog Aarti, Mahabhishek, Maha Aarti and Bhog, Maha Shringar Mangal Aarti, Rudrabhishek programs will be held at 12.30 am. It is worth mentioning that Budheeshwar Mahadev Temple is a 1100 to 1300 year old temple. At the same time, Hemant Brijwasi of Vrindavan will present Bhajan Sandhya in the temple at nine o’clock in the night.
