Rejuvenation of 8 railway stations of Rajasthan including Deshnok
Prime Minister gave gift of Bikaner-Mumbai Express train, cleaned from Deshnok railway station

Bikaner. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated the rebelled railway station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme in Deshnok in Bikaner district and dedicated 103 rebellious railway stations across the country to the nation. On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi flagged off the Bikaner-Mumbai Express train from Deshnok railway station.
During the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Modi also met the children and appreciated the paintings made by the children. During this time, the children resonated the campus with the slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”. The Prime Minister visited the exhibition Gallery in honor of the martyrs in the station premises.
On this occasion, various public representatives, administrative officers and large number of common man and school children were present, including Governor Haribhau Bagde, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Union Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnav, Union Minister of State and Justice, Arjun Ram Meghwal.
It is noteworthy that under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, more than 1300 stations are being redeveloped at a cost of Rs 1 lakh crore across the country. 103 railway stations rebelled in this sequence include eight railway stations in Rajasthan-Deshnok, Gogamedi, Bundi, Mandalgarh, Govindgarh, Mandawar-Mahua Road, Fatehpur Shekhawati and Rajgarh. In the development of every station, modern facilities have been adjusted along with the construction of local architecture and culture on the basis of the original mantra of “heritage – development too”. Celebrations were also organized at these stations during the inauguration, including local public representatives as well as public and school children.
