New Delhi. India successfully tested two important missiles on Thursday. These tests are associated with Prithvi and Agni missiles among the most important missiles in India.
According to the Ministry of Defense, India has tested Prithvi-II and Agni-I short range ballistic missiles, both of them were completely successful tests of missiles. These tests were conducted from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur, Odisha.
Both missile tests were conducted under the aegis of Strategic Forces Command (SFC). During the test, Indian missiles have successfully certified all operating and technical standards. Both missiles strengthen the country’s strategic capability and are an important part of India’s security structure under the minimum resistance policy.
This is the second important successful test in 24 hours. Earlier on Wednesday, India achieved a major achievement in the mission to improve its air defense system. On Wednesday, the Indian Army successfully tested the ‘Akash Prime’ air defense system in Ladakh sector at an altitude of about 15,000 feet. This air defense system has developed indigenously by India.
The successful test of ‘Akash Prime’ air defense system was successfully tested in the presence of senior officials of the Army’s Air Defense Wing. Senior officials of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) were also present during this period. DRDO has developed this air defense system.
According to defense experts, the surface -to -air missiles while testing the air defense system accurately attacked two goals flying at a fast pace. The test was done in the area with high height and sparse atmosphere, where normal operation is also difficult.
The Akash Prime system will be included in the third and fourth ‘Akash Regiment’ of the Indian Army. During the ‘Operation Sindoor’, India’s air defense system played an important role in thwarting aerial attacks by the Pakistani Army Chinese fighter jets and Turkish drones.
