While instructing to stay away from wasteful, luxury vehicles, the Chief Minister has said that everyone will have to work continuously while staying in the state. Along with setting the target of 100 days, the government has also banned the travel of ministers.
Government treasury should not be misused
While handing over the agenda for the first 100 days of his government to the newly appointed ministers, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given strict instructions to stop misuse of the exchequer and create an environment of discipline in the government. Yogi started his second term as Chief Minister, after taking oath on March 25, has started taking quick decisions, so that the pace of work of the government can be accelerated. After the formation of the government and the allocation of portfolios to the ministers, now all eyes are on the performance of the cabinet.
Maintain the image of not tolerating corruption
According to the instructions given by the Chief Minister to the ministers regarding the work, they have been asked not to keep old staff and avoid keeping personal staff on their own. According to official sources, Chief Minister Yogi has taken some important decisions to maintain the image of his previous government of zero tolerance to corruption and maintaining transparency.
Will have to prepare a master plan for 100 days and present it in front of the CM
In these, the ministers have been given an agenda to set a target of 100 days’ work. Under this, all the ministers will have to review the work of their department in 100 days and prepare a master plan for the further action plan. Yogi has instructed the ministers that in the cabinet meeting, the minister himself will have to apprise the Chief Minister about the action plan of his departments on any subject. In the meeting, the Additional Chief Secretary or Principal Secretary of the Department will be present only for the assistance of the Minister while any subject is presented by the Minister. Along with this, the ministers will also have to apprise the Chief Minister about the work of the next 100 days.
Prohibition on going out of the state without informing, ban on buying luxury vehicles
Not only this, the ministers have also been asked to adopt measures to prevent wasteful expenditure. In this, apart from refusing to buy a new car for himself at government expense, a minister has also been prevented from going out of the state without informing the Chief Minister and the state leadership of the party. Yogi has instructed that ministers should avoid unnecessary travel to Delhi. Sources said that it will be mandatory to inform the ministers about going out of the state for government or private work. The reason behind this directive is to prevent misuse of government expenditure and any other kind of controversy from flourishing. To curb unnecessary government spending, he has asked ministers to avoid doing things like decorating their bungalows, revamping offices and buying new furniture and luxury cars.
