Bettiah. In Bettiah, Bihar, criminals on Friday shot and seriously injured a property dealer. The incident took place near Vidyashram in Barwat, where the property dealer went to his land.
The injured property dealer was admitted to Bettiah GMCH, from where doctors referred him to Patna for better treatment. The police have started investigating the case and are searching for criminals.
The injured property dealer has been identified as Suresh Yadav (45). He hails from Barwat Parsai of Mufassil police station area. It is being told that Suresh had three bullets in his chest.
As soon as the incident was reported, the family immediately rushed him to Betia GMCH. Seeing his critical condition after initial treatment, doctors referred Patna.
Bettiah Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr. Shaurya Suman told the media that Suresh Yadav’s condition is now out of danger.
He said, “We are investigating the matter thoroughly. According to preliminary information, the matter may be related to land transactions. Suresh’s old dispute was registered in the Tehsil police station area, on the basis of which we are investigating.”
The SP said that technical evidence is being collected and soon the culprits will be identified and arrested.
According to the police, the criminals riding on the Apache bike carried out the incident. Police reached the spot and inspected the spot and gathered evidence.
The police have assured that strict action will be taken in the case. Suresh Yadav’s family says that he needs justice and the culprits should be punished severely.
