New Delhi. PM Modi has met India’s young Grandmaster Rameshbabu Pragyananand, who created history by winning India a silver medal in the FIDE World Cup. This meeting was held by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence. During this, along with Rameshbabu Pragyananand, his parents also stayed there. PM Modi has shared some glimpses of this meeting on his Instagram account. In the pictures shared by PM Modi, he is seen with young chess player Pragyananand and his family.

For your information, let us tell you that recently Pragyananand created history by winning a silver medal. During this, he gave a tough fight to world number one player Magnus Carlsen. Pragyanananda was able to take the match to the tie-breaker but had to accept defeat in the end. When Praggnanandhaa reached the Chennai International Airport after winning the silver medal, he was given a warm welcome. People arrived with garlands and banners in their hands. After this, the security officials controlled the crowd and took them to their vehicle.
