New Delhi. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s troubles may increase once again. A Pune court has issued summons to Rahul Gandhi and ordered him to appear. The court has issued this summons against Rahul Gandhi in a defamation case filed by Satyaki Savarkar, grandson of freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Satyaki accused Rahul Gandhi of trying to defame Veer Savarkar by making controversial statements against him.
Satyaki’s lawyer Sangram Kolhatkar said that after hearing our side, Judicial Magistrate (First Class) Sakshi Jain ordered to issue summons to Rahul Gandhi. The court has fixed August 19 for the next hearing of the case. According to the complaint of Veer Savarkar’s grandson Satyaki, Rahul Gandhi had gone to London in March last year. There he claimed in his speech that Vinayak Damodar Savarkar wrote in a book that he along with some of his friends beat up a Muslim man. He felt very happy about this.

Savarkar’s grandson Satyaki has claimed that no such incident ever happened and Vinayak Damodar Savarkar never wrote anything like this in his book. Through such fabricated things, Rahul Gandhi is trying to defame Veer Savarkar. On Satyaki’s complaint, a case was registered under sections 499 and 500 of the IPC. The court had ordered the police to verify the evidence presented by Satyaki and submit a detailed report of the case. In its report, the police confirmed Satyaki’s claims and said that Veer Savarkar did not mention any such incident anywhere in his book.
