New Delhi. The court has reserved its decision regarding whether the accused is an adult or a minor in the Pune hit and run case. However, at present his bail has been cancelled. The accused has been ordered to be sent to a juvenile home by June 5. During the stay of the minor accused in the juvenile home, the Juvenile Court can give its verdict on his becoming an adult. Or he can be kept under observation even beyond June 5. Three days ago, the same court had granted bail to the accused.
The bail granted to the minor accused has now been cancelled by the same juvenile court, after which the case had gained momentum. The application of Pune police to declare the minor accused as an adult will remain pending for now. According to the rule, the police will have to file a chargesheet within a month to determine the adulthood of the accused. After that, he will be taken to a psychiatrist at Sasoon Hospital and his report will be taken from the probation officer of the juvenile home. Within a period of three months, the child rights court will decide whether the minor accused is an adult or not.

Father in police custody
On the other hand, the court on Wednesday sent Vishal Aggarwal, the father of the minor who hit the motorcycle with his expensive Porsche car, on 2-day police remand. The police claimed about the minor teenager that he was drunk. 7 days remand was sought from the court but only 2 days custody was given. Police said that there are many questions to which the minor’s father needs to answer and hence there is a need for his custody. The court was told that despite knowing that the son was a minor, father Vishal Aggarwal not only gave him a car but also allowed him to party in the pub. The question was also raised as to why RTO registration of the vehicle was not done?
