India-China distanced itself from voting in UNSC
The UN Security Council voted on the draft resolution introduced by the US and Albania. It condemned Russian aggression, assault and violation of Ukrainian sovereignty. Along with this, the resolution expressed commitment to the sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The Russian attack was described as a violation of international peace and security.
However, India and China distanced themselves from voting during the voting on the resolution tabled at the UNSC in the early hours of Saturday.
