Earlier, President Vladimir Putin’s advisor Anton Kobyakov met Indian Ambassador to Russia Vinay Kumar. Many meanings are being drawn from this meeting on the global platform. However, during this time they discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and strengthen cooperation between the two countries on international forums.
A television channel quoted Kobyakov on Thursday as saying, “India and Russia cooperate on an equal footing in trade, energy, science, investment, tourism and environmental protection. Importantly, mutual cooperation is also being strengthened within the framework of the Consolidation Treaty. This is of special significance for the formation of a sovereign multipolar world.” According to the channel, the topic of talks between Kobyakov and Kumar was “enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation on international forums.”
Both the officials met after the meeting of PM Modi and Putin
Last month, PM Modi visited Russia. During this, an important meeting took place between President Putin and PM Modi. After this, now these two officials met after the Ukrainian army occupied Russia. The two leaders also discussed the participation of the Indian delegation in the upcoming BRICS summit in Kazan and the BRICS business forum in Moscow. These programs are scheduled for October 2024.
