Before the Paris Olympics 2024, Indian star badminton women player PV Sindhu is now impressing everyone with her game on the court after fully recovering from a knee injury. She has now made her place in the quarter-finals of the women’s singles of the Malaysia Masters Super 500 badminton tournament. Sindhu faced Korean player Sim Yu Jin in the second round on 23 May, in which Sindhu won the match that lasted three sets and confirmed her place in the quarter-finals. Now Sindhu has to play against a Chinese player in the third round.
Sindhu was defeated in the second set, won the third set and made it to the next round
In the second round of women’s singles of Malaysia Masters Super 500 badminton tournament, Sindhu won the first set 21-13 against the Korean player, but lost 12-21 in the second set. After this, in the third and deciding set, Sindhu made a brilliant comeback and won it 21-14 and also confirmed her place for the quarter-finals. Now Sindhu has to play her next match against Chinese player Han Yui, against whom she had to face defeat in the Asia Badminton Championship in Ningbo last month.
Sindhu will train abroad before Olympics
Keeping in mind the Olympic Games to be held in Paris in the year 2024, the Indian Sports Ministry has now also given permission to Lakshya Sen along with shuttler PV Sindhu to train abroad. Sindhu will train at the Hermann-Neuberger Sportschule in Saarbrucken, Germany. Before going to Paris, she will practice there with her coach and support staff for more than a month. Lakshya Sen will practice for 12 days in Marseille, France.
