Giving information about this incident, the airport spokesperson said that cancer medicine was being sent from Terminal 3 to a flight going from Lucknow to Guwahati. When the luggage was being checked with the luggage scanner, the scanner started beeping. After this, the box of cancer medicine was opened. As soon as the box was opened, radioactive material leaked from it and two cargo employees present on the spot fell unconscious. There was a commotion at the airport after the information of radioactive material leaking. Terminal 3 of the airport has been evacuated in a hurry. At present, efforts are being made to find out whether this is a radioactive material or something else and if it is a radioactive material, how dangerous can its effect be.
