Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has once again attacked the Election Commission (EC). Speaking to reporters in the Parliament complex on Thursday, he claimed that he had 100 percent evidence of the fact that the Election Commission had approved fraud in a Lok Sabha seat in Karnataka. He strictly said that if the Election Commission is thinking that it will survive, then it is his mistake, we will not leave it.
Rahul Gandhi claimed that he investigated only one Lok Sabha seat in Karnataka and found huge irregularities. He said that thousands of new voters of 45, 50, 60, 65 years have been added. It is just a matter of one seat. In several seats, the work of cutting the names of voters, adding new voters and illegally adding names is going on. We will present this evidence.
Rahul Gandhi is strict on Election Commission
Rahul Gandhi gave a direct warning to the Election Commission that I want to convey a message to the Election Commission that if you feel that you will survive, then you are wrong. We have followed you. This is a murder of democracy and we will not tolerate it.
Question on voter revision process
Rahul Gandhi supported the concerns of opposition leaders about the ongoing special intensive revision (SIR) in Bihar. He said that millions of voters in Bihar have not been found at their address and this process is a conspiracy to deprive voters of voting rights. He said that the Election Commission is working under the pressure of the government and failed to fulfill its constitutional responsibility.
Rahul said- elections are being stolen in India
Rahul Gandhi also said on Wednesday that elections are being “theft” in the country. He claimed that the Congress had discovered the method of vote theft and soon its blueprint will be removed on paper. He also said that this is just the beginning and it is happening all over the country.
Strict opposition in parliament
The opposition has lodged a strong protest in both the houses of Parliament over amending the voter list of Bihar. Opposition parties say that this step is being taken deliberately before the Bihar assembly elections so that select voters can be removed from the list. Rahul Gandhi’s statements have further edged this protest.
