The court has already granted bail to CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar on June 1. Let us tell you that there are other defamation cases pending against Rahul Gandhi. Earlier, Surat’s CJM court had sentenced Rahul Gandhi to two years of imprisonment for making objectionable comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Due to which he lost his membership of Parliament and he had to vacate the bungalow he had got as an MP. However, later the Supreme Court stayed Rahul’s punishment and his membership of Parliament was restored.
