Amit Malviya
BJP leader Amit Malviya has once again targeted Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. Targeting Rahul Gandhi, Amit Malviya shared a post on social media site X. In his post, Amit Malviya wrote, “Until Rahul Gandhi, who has failed for the third time, accepts that the country has rejected him and his party for the third time in a row, he will keep saying absurd things. Like institutions like NTA have been taken over by aliens. National Testing Agency i.e. NTA is an agency of the Government of India and not of any particular party.”
Amit Malviya lashed out at Rahul Gandhi
Amit Malviya further wrote, “Although it was set up in 2018 as an independent, autonomous and self-sustaining organisation to conduct national-level examinations for admission and recruitment to fields such as engineering, medicine, management and pharmacy, modelled on the US Educational Testing Service body, its origins lie in the Programme of Work 1992, which advocated for national-level common entrance examinations, as outlined in the National Policy on Education 1986.”
Congress’ recommendation, reminded
Amit Malviya further said that in 2010, a committee of directors of Indian Institutes of Technology recommended the establishment of the agency through legislation to ensure this autonomy and transparency. In 2013, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (now Ministry of Education) formed a task force to develop plans for the agency. Who was in power at that time? It was Congress. Let us tell you that after the rigging in the NEET exam and now the cancellation of the UGC NET exam, questions have started being raised on the National Testing Agency.
