Apart from this, the weather department has also predicted heavy rain in Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura. There are chances of moderate to heavy rain in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. At the same time, heavy rain may also be seen in Vidarbha, Goa and Konkan of Maharashtra, Telangana and coastal Karnataka.
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be light to moderate rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, eastern areas of Rajasthan, Odisha. Heavy rain may also occur at some places. The Meteorological Department has issued a storm warning in Gujarat till Sunday. Fishermen have been asked not to go into the sea. At the same time, there is an alert of heavy rain in Kishanganj, Araria, Madhubani, Supaul, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, East and West Champaran districts of Bihar. An alert of lightning with thunder and lightning has also been issued in many districts of Bihar. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in Nainital, Tehri and Pauri Garhwal, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar and Uttarkashi of Uttarakhand.
