The Meteorological Department has issued the latest update for Eastern India. Meteorologists say that people living in the eastern part of the country are not expected to get relief from the scorching heat till May 5. As per the forecast so far, the heat wave with gusts of hot wind will continue in the areas of Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand and Purvanchal till Sunday. At the same time, the severe heat cycle is predicted to continue in the southern states till May 6. Let us tell you that in most areas of Bihar, Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand and Eastern Uttar Pradesh, the temperature is continuously above 40 degrees Celsius. At some places in Odisha, the temperature even crossed 46 degrees Celsius.
