Half a month has not passed and about 233.1 mm of rain has already fallen, which means that the quota of almost the entire month is about to be completed. The Meteorological Department said that it will rain in Delhi today i.e. on Wednesday as well. This phase will continue till 19 August. The rainy conditions have become such that people are facing heavy traffic jams due to waterlogging on the roads of Delhi-NCR.
At the same time, the monsoon trough is formed in North India, especially around Delhi. Due to this, there is heavy rain in North India, especially in the hilly areas. The situation in these areas is very bad. Flood situation has arisen in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh due to rain. There are reports of landslides at many places. At the same time, decent rain has been seen in the plains of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Bengal.
