Raipur News Desk. Chhattisgarh’s second Vande Bharat Express will run from Durg to Visakhapatnam from September 15. The Railway Board has started preparations to run the state’s first Vande Bharat Express between Bilaspur and Nagpur six days a week except Saturdays from December 2022. Recently, DRM Sanjeev Kumar inspected the basic technical arrangements at Durg station and gave guidelines for the operation of Vande Bharat Express from Durg to Visakhapatnam.

According to railway officials, Vande Bharat train can reach Durg station on 10th or 11th.
Vande Bharat train will not be a sleeper but a chair car. People are being reserved for pilot, TTE, coach attendant.
The distance from Raipur to Visakhapatnam is 300 km, which will be covered in just five hours.
The new Vande Bharat train will run from Durg instead of Raipur. This decision has been taken because there is a coaching yard here.
There will be stoppage at these stations
According to information received from railway sources, the Vande Bharat train will reach Visakhapatnam from Durg via Raipur, Mahasamund, Khariyar Road, Kanta Bhanji, Titlagarh, Raigarha, Parvatipuram and Vijayanagaram. However, official information about which stations will have stoppages and what will be the fare has not been given by the railway at the moment.
