Rajasthan better in the country in many health standards: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma

Jaipur. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the medical department should keep its complete preparation to provide relief to the common people from heat stroke (heat wave) and other diseases caused by heat. District Collector should inspect hospitals regularly. He said that all hospitals and health centers of the state should be fully maintained and action should be taken against the responsibilities in case of any deficiency. Sharma said that the continuous availability of electricity, water and medical facilities to the common people during the summer season is the priority of the state government. Officers should work with full dedication with sensitivity so that people do not have to face any kind of trouble.

Sharma was addressing a review meeting of Prime Minister Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission and National Health Mission at the Chief Minister’s residence on Friday. He said that under the Prime Minister Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, world -class health facilities are being developed by strengthening the infrastructure of public health care in the state. He instructed the officials to develop the infrastructure of health in each district and make them self -sufficient and high level preparations should be made to protect against epidemics by strengthening health services. He said that under the Urban Ayushman Arogya Temple, high quality health services are being provided to the disadvantaged class in the urban areas of the state. He instructed the officials to use the government unusable land for these Arogya temple by the department.

Full availability of medicines in hospitals

He instructed the officials that in view of the preparations to deal with the heat in the state, there should be availability of medicines and equipment in hospitals at all times. Regular monitoring should be done in the event of heat wave and all necessary medical arrangements should be ensured in hospitals all the time.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to strengthen the infrastructure of medical treatment under Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Health Infrastructure Mission. He said that all the Ayushman Arogya temples operated in the state should be ensured by the main 12 services by this year. Reviewing the ambulance services, he said that regular monitoring should be done by equipping them with state -of -the -art medical facilities. Also, the number of ambulances should also be increased. He said that the number of X -rays, sonography and dialysis machines should be increased in hospitals and necessary arrangements should be made to keep all these machines working at all times.

Sharma said that under the Rajasthan Digital Health Mission, not only an aura ID should be made of every person of the state to maintain the health records of the people of the state, but also ensure that maximum use of aura ID is started soon. In the meeting, a detailed review of the progress of the scheme in the state under the newly constructed sub-health center, Integrated Public Health Lab, Critical Care Block, Ma Voucher Scheme, National Health Mission was detailed.

During this, the Chief Government Secretary Medical and Health gave presentation of the schemes, programs and innovations of the department. Senior officials including Medical and Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khivansar were present in the meeting.
