Jaipur. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has released Rajasthan Logistics Policy-2025 in order to make Rajasthan a $ 350 billion economy by 2030 and ensure investment friendly industrial environment. This policy will encourage industrial development in the state and increase the cost of logistics and establish Rajasthan as a logistics hub. Rajasthan is the largest state in India. The geographical location of the state is such that the industry here can fulfill the local demand along with exports, keeping the logistics and operational costs low. Shareing the border with Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, our state reaches about 40 percent markets in the country. It is fully capable of bringing industries to the market as a major infrastructure facility between the northern and western parts of India. Rajasthan has the third largest network of national highways of the country and the second largest rail network is in Rajasthan. Apart from this, 9 inland container depots, 7 airports and an air carga complex are providing us a strong position in the field of logistics and business. Rajasthan Logistics Policy-2025 will encourage industrial development, taking advantage of the geographical location of Rajasthan and will also provide a lot of opportunities for industries to move forward by decreasing the cost.
EFCI will have a capital subsidy of up to 25 percent for ten years
The Rajasthan Logistics Policy-2025 released by Chief Minister Sharma has made several attractive provisions to make Rajasthan a favorite destination for logistics. These include many special discounts and grants. For warehouse, silo, cold storage, inland container freight station, air freight station, carga terminal, trucker park etc. 5 to 50 crore rupees have been provided for ten years of capital subsidy up to Rs 5 to 50 crore.
Special concessions will be available on developing logistics park
Special concessions have also been given to investors developing logistics park in the state. Private multi -model logistics park and integrated logistics park developers will get 7 percent interest grant for 7 years, the annual limit of Rs 50 lakhs. Various concessions will also be given in taxes and charges, including 75 percent discount on stamp duty and 25 percent recharge, 100 percent discount on electricity duty for 7 years, 75 percent discount on conversion of land charges and 25 percent recharge and 100 percent discount on market fees for 7 years.
Employment opportunities will be created for youth power in logistics sector
The state government has also made several important provisions in view of enabling the youth through policy and providing appropriate employment opportunities in the private sector. This includes a provision of 50 percent recharge of the total cost of personnel training (maximum Rs 4000 per worker per month, 6 months) to encourage efficiency and training. Under technical upgradation, 50 percent recharge to 2000 per truck at the cost of truck tracking equipment, 50 percent recharge of up to Rs 2 lakh on installation of logistics management software and 20 percent (maximum Rs 10 lakh) on the cost of fire detection system will also be available.
10 percent land in upcoming industrial areas will be reserved for logistics facilities
In order to ensure maximum logistics facilities in the state, a maximum of 10 acres or 10 percent allotment in the upcoming industrial areas of Rico will be reserved only for logistics facilities. The policy includes important points towards encouraging environmental protection. In this, a provision of green incentive has been made up to Rs 12.5 crore, under which 50 percent of the cost can be rebuilt on ETP, CETP, reuse of industrial residue and recycling, common spray dryer etc.
13 new policies will give impetus to economic development
The state government is making strong efforts to make Rajasthan the best investment destination in the country through transparency, good governance and quick policy reforms. Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme 2024, Rajasthan MSME Policy 2024, Rajasthan Export Promotion Policy, Rajasthan One District A Product Policy 2024, Integrated Cluster Development Scheme, Rajasthan. 13 policies have been brought like and apparel policy 2025, Rajasthan Data Center Policy 2025, Rajasthan Logistics Policy 2025. There has been a good trend among investors and entrepreneurs of all classes of domestic and foreign, small and middle and middle and middle and middle and entrepreneurs about these policies.
