‘If the police catch me, I will declare myself mentally unstable’
It is written in the e-mail, ‘We are Neeraj K. I will kill the wind. His body will be cut into pieces and packed in a black suitcase. We will put a time bomb on it and put it in the stadium. If the police catch us, we will say that we are mentally ill. Then the police will let us go. We have received a certificate from the doctor stating that he is mentally unstable.
‘If needed, we will kill the Chief Minister too’
In the email, a person named ‘Davis’ was accused of rape and said, ‘The police is sleeping and doing nothing in the matter.’ They do not even know how to check properly. Even if we kill the Chief Minister, the police will do nothing. If needed, we will also kill Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.
‘Threats to arrest Divij continuously’
The email further states, “Threatened emails are being sent to the cricket stadium so that the police’s attention can be attracted to the rapist Divij, who raped a girl at the Lemon Tree Hotel in Hyderabad in 2023.” Diviz started this wrongdoing in 2022. The police is trying to track the IP of the person sending the cyber cell mail, but the mail was sent through VPN, due to which the exact location is not detected. Security agencies have increased security at SMS Stadium, Chief Minister’s residence and other sensitive places. In view of the seriousness of the mail, national agencies have also been alerted.
Pressure increased on government and police to take action
This mail came at a time when security agencies were already cautious due to the danger at the stadium of Rajasthan.
