Rajasthan gets gift from Center under PMAY -G - 2 lakh 73 thousand 752 families will get pucca houses

Jaipur, The state government has achieved great success with the untiring efforts of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma in the campaign to make poverty -free village. The dream of families waiting for their firm home for more than 6 years is now going to come true. 2 lakh 73 thousand 752 families of the state involved in the Housing Plus Survey of the year 2018 will soon get the gift of pucca houses.

Ever since the formation of the government, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma is constantly making efforts to make the villages of the state poverty free by coordinating with the Union Ministry of Rural Development. Recently, he went to Delhi to meet Union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and made a significant discussion regarding providing more benefits of other schemes including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Scheme (MNREGA), Deendayal Upadhyay Rural Kaushal Yojana, National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) and other schemes.

Showing a positive attitude on this, the Union Ministry of Rural Development has allocated the target of 2 lakh 73 thousand 752 houses to Rajasthan under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G). In this way, due to the efforts of the state government, no waiting family will be left in the list of Housing Plus Survey of 2018. Earlier, the target of constructing about 22 lakh 23 thousand houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin in Rajasthan was allotted, out of which about 20 lakh houses have been almost completed.

First installment of housing will be released soon
The Rural Development Department of the state has also written a letter to the district collectors and directed all the eligible families to issue the first installment. It is noteworthy that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) is being implemented in rural areas of the country for the purpose of ‘housing for all’. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to the eligible rural families living in homeless and dilapidated houses for the construction of basic facilities.

Under the scheme, assistance of Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand is being given to eligible families for the construction of houses in the state. Direct benefit transfer of funds is done in the accounts of the beneficiaries. Apart from this, a assistance of 12 thousand rupees is given for toilets in the residence under Swachh Bharat Mission-Gramin. Also, the remuneration of 90 Labor Day is also payable in MNREGA.

Chief Minister’s dream ‘poverty -free Rajasthan’
Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasis is being laid on creating poverty -free village in the state, in this episode, innovation is being made in Rajasthan under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. A provision has been made in the budget to build a poverty -free village in the state and a target of five thousand villages has been set in the first phase. Under this scheme, a provision of Rs 300 crore has been made to bring all the BPL families of the identified villages above the poverty line. The government aims to strengthen the BPL families of these villages and make them self -sufficient. For this, various development schemes, self -employment opportunities, skill development programs and financial assistance will be provided in these villages.
