Everything has been submerged in water due to heavy rains in many districts including Karauli, Bharatpur and Hindaun. Many people were swept away in rivers and streams. There has been a loss of crores of rupees. According to the Meteorological Department, this series of rains will continue in the state. Today, a warning has been issued for very heavy rains in Alwar and Bharatpur in eastern Rajasthan. At the same time, an alert for heavy rain has been issued in Dausa, Dholpur, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar and Tonk. Apart from this, rain has been forecast in 14 other districts.
According to the Meteorological Department, the circulation system formed over north-eastern Rajasthan remains over this area even today. It is spread up to a height of 5.8 km from the surface. The monsoon trough line is passing through Bikaner and the circulation system today. Due to its effect, there will be moderate to heavy rain activities in many areas of eastern Rajasthan and this may continue for the next one week.
These conditions may persist for about a week
The weather department says that due to this, there can be heavy rain in some places and very heavy rain in some places in Jaipur, Ajmer and Kota divisions. Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions located in western Rajasthan will also not remain untouched by this. There are also chances of moderate to heavy rain in some places for the next five-six days. Shekhawati area will also be affected by this. There can be heavy rain in some places there too.
Heavy rains in Karauli and Hindaun
Heavy rain was recorded in many areas of Rajasthan including Karauli, Hindaun, Kota and Bharatpur on Saturday. Clouds also rained heavily in Jaipur. This caused flooding of water in these areas. Due to heavy rains, there was chaos in these districts. Due to continuous rain, the mercury of the thermometer has remained cold. On Saturday, the highest temperature in the state was recorded at 38 degrees Celsius in Sri Ganganagar.
