Bhilwara. Even after the convenience of the individual hearing appellant in the Right to Information Act, the Rajasthan State Information Commission and the First Appellate Officers are benefiting the response by passing the order for personal hearing in an illegal manner. According to the information, several RTI activists of Bhilwara district were installed by the authorized officer and registrar of the State Information Commission on Jawaharlal Nehru Marg in Jaipur. In response to the second appeal, even after not wanting personal hearing, Jaipur is being called for personal hearing. RTI activist Prakash Chaplot said that after presenting the first appeal in the Additional Chief Medical and Health Department Bhilwara, the information sought was not provided, then the second appeal was presented in the Rajasthan State Information Commission as per rules. During this time, a call was chosen not to seek personal hearing on the portal. Even after that, the Registrar of the Commission sent a notice to be deliberately and with the intention of benefiting the response. Chaplot also informed that the column of personal hearing was not chosen while presenting the information on the applications made against the Municipal Corporation Bhilwara in the past, while presenting it to the Second Appeal Commission. Nevertheless, the Commission, considering the individual hearing as the basis, benefited the response and declared a decision in favor of the respondent. Chaplot, considering this decision of the Commission wrong, has sent a complaint at a high level against this attitude of the Commission along with submission of suit in the Hon’ble High Court.
