Bundi. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal on Saturday performed nationwide protests against the violence against Hindus in West Bengal, led by Mamta Banerjee. The impact of the performance was also seen in Bundi, Rajasthan. The members of Bundi VHP submitted a memorandum to the district administration demanding the implementation of President’s rule in West Bengal and warned of demonstrations and intensifying if they did not accept the demand.
Speaking to the media, Vishwa Hindu Parishad Bundi member Pitambar Sharma said, “The manner in which Hindus are being tortured in West Bengal. People are being killed, Hindus shops are being identified and burnt. In protest, they are giving a memorandum to the President on behalf of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal in protest against this.”
Talking about his demand, he said, “All Hindu society, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal demand that President’s rule should be implemented in West Bengal as soon as possible. The manner in which the people of Hindu society are being migrated there, should be stopped. Our demand will not be met, then the strategy will be made according to the order that will come from the top leadership of the organization.”
Opposing the violence in Bengal, he said, “When a bill is passed from Parliament, it is unanimously. Many bills have passed in previous governments, but never got such a protest. The Muslim society is being incorrectly inciting the Waqf Act.”
Suresh Jat, who was involved in the demonstration, said, “We are protesting against the atrocities being committed by the Mamta government in West Bengal on the Hindus.
