Jaipur. The monsoon rains wreaking havoc in Rajasthan have worried people. The torrential rains are not stopping in the entire state. The Meteorological Department has again warned of very heavy rains in five districts Baran, Bundi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur and Tonk today. An orange alert for very heavy rain has been issued for these districts. Apart from these, a yellow alert for heavy rain has been issued in Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Dausa, Dholpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Sikar, Churu and Nagaur.

It is passing through Bikaner and the circulation system. Due to its effect, there may be very heavy rain in five districts of Rajasthan and heavy rain in 13 districts. Apart from these, there are strong chances of normal rain in Chittorgarh, Bikaner, Hanumangarh and Sri Ganganagar. Therefore, the residents of Rajasthan have to remain alert.
The rain will continue for now
According to Jaipur Meteorological Center, moderate to heavy rainfall activities may continue for the next one week in many areas of eastern Rajasthan. During this time, there is a possibility of heavy and sometimes very heavy rain in Ajmer and Bharatpur divisions including Jaipur. There is a possibility of moderate and sometimes heavy rain in some parts of Bikaner division of western Rajasthan for the next 5-6 days. Along with this, there may be heavy rain at some places in Shekhawati area as well. Due to rain, the temperature has dropped across the state. On Friday, the highest temperature of 38.5 degree Celsius was recorded in Sri Ganganagar.
Heavy rain in Bikaner, Kota, Pratapgarh and Jaipur
On Friday, in Rajasthan, the clouds rained so much in the Khajuwala area of Bikaner that the surrounding area including the Khajuwala town was completely submerged. Torrential rain in the rural areas of Kota created havoc. The clouds also rained heavily in Pratapgarh district. Three youths died due to drowning in the Luni river in Jodhpur district. The road caved in in Bhilwara city. In Jaipur, the rain continued intermittently throughout the day. Due to this, there were traffic jams at many places.
